Wig Shop is pleased to announce the artist’s book Weavings, which collects 23 watercolors by artist and interior designer Jessica Jiminez Keenan.

Meeting at intersection of the subconscious, automatic art of the surrealist movement and the textile designs of Anni Albers and Sonia Delaunay, these works, dubbed “Weavings” by the artist, subliminally explore pattern-making, color theory and the creative process. Each work, created in a single sitting, “creates a space for meditation, to discover a rhythm in the mark-making and fall into it.” The finished works incorporate elements of chance in their completed system, ultimately forming a delicate plait of recurring motifs and latent possibilities.

Weavings was produced in an edition of 100 copies. 26 lettered copies will include an original 5 x 7 inch watercolor by the artist.
